Contract Disputes

There are 4 essential requirements for a contract: 

The Parties must be Capable of Entering into a Contract

Except for minors, persons of unsound mind, and persons deprived of civil rights, all persons are capable of contracting. Except for minors, persons of unsound mind, and persons deprived of civil rights, all persons are capable of contracting. 

The Parties Must Consent to the Contract

Consent of the parties to a contract must be free; mutual; and communicated by each to the other. 

The Object of the Contract Must Be Lawful

Parties cannot enter into a contract to engage in unlawful conduct.

There Must Be Sufficient Consideration for the Contract

Good consideration for a contract includes any benefit conferred, or agreed to be conferred, upon the promisor, to which the promisor is not entitled, as an inducement to the promisor. 

Breach of Contract Cases
